Kate Neiss has spent the majority of her professional career in higher education in admissions, student affairs and advising.

Students are Kate’s passion.  She finds great joy in helping them navigate the waters of college while making plans and goals for adulthood.

“When I moved with my family to Minnesota in the summer of 2014, I decided to shift my focus and help high school students find the right college fit, as my experience in advising showed me that many students make the wrong college choice and are faced with the stresses of transferring."

"I want to help students and their families vet all their college choices with the right priorities in mind; focusing on individual fit.”

Kate graduated with honors from Valparaiso University in Indiana with a BA in Communications (minor in Dance) and earned her Masters of Education in Counseling with a focus in College Student Development from DePaul University in Chicago.

Professionally, Kate spent 6 years as an Admission Counselor for her alma mater and Columbia College Chicago while staying on at Columbia 3 more years as an Academic Advisor.  Kate enjoys working with all types of students across cultural backgrounds looking to study in traditional majors as well as the fine, performing and media arts.

Kate lives in Eden Prairie, MN with her husband and children.
